A Philadelphia man accused of shooting San Diego Chargers rookie Curtis Brinkley has turned himself in to authorities.
Investigators in Montgomery County are saying 23-year-old Anthony Peterson turned himself in on Saturday and has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and other charges.
Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman says the July 10 shooting was a case of mistaken identity. Peterson was reportedly romantically involved with Brinkley's sister and thought he was shooting at a rival for her affections.
