Sixers reportedly trade Carney, Booth to open cap space for Brand
Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Sixers have agreed to trade forwards Rodney Carney, Calvin Booth and a future No. 1 pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves in order to free as much as $2 million in additional salary cap space to go after Elton Brand or Josh Smith.
