Former Penn offensive lineman Sean Estrada signed a free agent contract with the San Francisco 49ers.

Estrada, a 6-4, 295-pound left guard/tackle for the Quakers, is expected to play at center for the Niners. A native of California, Estrada will return to his home state to play professionally after impressing at last weekend's free agent mini-camp.

In 2006, Estrada was a unanimous first-team All-Ivy selection. He led an offensive line that allowed just 10 sacks (10th best in the nation), while also helping a 1,000-yard rusher in Joe Sandberg. Estrada started 10 games as a junior after seeing action in six contests in 2004.
