The Philadelphia 76ers signed forward Louis Amundson to a 10-day contract on Thursday.

"Louis is someone I have liked since last year," said Sixers president Billy King. "His toughness and rebounding will compliment our other big men."

Earlier this season, the 6-foot-8 forward became the ninth call-up from the D-League when he signed a 10-day contract on Feb. 5 and a second 10-day contract on Feb. 19 with the Utah Jazz.

Amundson appeared in one game with the Jazz, logging two minutes. In a stint with the Colorado 14ers (D-League), the UNLV product averaged 11.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.48 blocks in 25.0 minutes in 25 games, while shooting 56.3 percent (117-208 FG).
