As a warm up to the divisional playoff game vs. the Philadelphia Eagles, a concert will take place on the Bud Bridge outside of the Superdome Gate C from 2-6 pm on January 13. The list of bands scheduled to perform include:

Steve Miller Band: It is hard to find anyone who has thrilled music fans for so long, with such consistent excellence. This year marks the 39th year of the Steve Miller Band's recording debut. The band is best known for their landmark album and hit single "The Joker". His album, Greatest Hits 1974-1978, which went platinum within one month of its release in 1978, has since been certified for mind-boggling 13-times-platinum sales. After all, Miller did once confide to Rolling Stone, “I don’t think, as a musician, you really hit your peak until you’re about 60.”

Luther Kent: The New Orleans born blues singer began singing professionally at age 14. For nearly 40 years, Kent has set clubs, theaters and festivals on fire with his down-and-dirty blues. Luther has been inducted into The Louisiana Hall Of Fame and The Louisiana Blues Hall Of Fame.

Rebirth Brass Band: Formed in 1983, the band has long since graduated from the streets of New Orleans to theaters and festivals all over the world. Rebirth is committed to upholding the tradition of brass bands while at the same time incorporating modern music into their show. Their signature brand of heavy funk has placed them among the world’s top brass bands and they are the hands-down favorite among the younger generation.

"This event is not just a concert or party, it's a pep rally of sorts to warm up the fans for the game" said Quint Davis, President of Festival Productions, Inc-New Orleans, the producer of the event. "We want every fan in the Superdome excited and ready for kickoff."
