Column Day!

Three new columns hit the multi-media pavement at The Phanatic on Friday. Our own football expert, and former Minnesota Vikings beat writer, John McMullen just doesn't understand the fascination with Norv Turner, who is high on the list of possible candidates in Big D. Speaking of coaching, the media involved itself in a whirlwind of reports over the Steelers job opening last weekend. Jared Trexler details Michael Silver's two days from hell, and the dangerous precedent media is setting.

Need your Sixers fill? Michael Rushton dribbles into the paint and tosses a no-look pass to Andre Miller, who he hopes is an intrical part of the club's rebuilding process.

Flyers and Phillies news is also on the docket. Peter "The Great" Forsberg could be on his way to a host of cities, including his old home in Denver. The Phillies made it official with left-handed hitting outfielder Karim Garcia on Friday, signing him in a minor-league deal with an invite to Spring Training.
