You've never heard of multiple places reporting the same deal. I went on three different sites the day Bobby Petrino became Falcons head coach and eac said, "named Bobby Petrino head coach, according to CNNSI or ESPN or the Philadelphia Daily News." Just because you heard from one paper that something may be true, it doesn't mean these guys didn't put in the work to find the same thing.
I'm not hating your site. I actually enjoy the articles, I just dont like the fact that you try to "break" stories that never break. Charlie Manuel getting fired, Jon LeClare being brought back within 48 hours, the CWebb joint from a few weeks ago and then once again today. If you have sources thats great, but to me it seems that you do what I do...which is you read lots of random newspapers from around the country. But, unlike you I don't use it as propoganda on a site to make the writers seem like they are on the inside. Just write stories and commetaries, the whole staff is great at that. Dont try to be Howard Eskin. He's ugly and has bad hair, you guys dont want to be ugly with bad hair.
ESPN everyday posts stories with sources that don't come true. It's the way the information age works nowadays -- The Phanatic did get the Manuel firing and the LeClair story wrong, but also got the Garcia trade, this Webber buyout, and Ken Whisenhunt saying NO to Atlanta before interviewing in Pittsburgh -- posted here yesterday and on PPG TODAY -- right. People get things wrong and right -- but I'll love coming here to read the latest gossip, inside info or not. Keep up the good word John McMullen and company!
What was Pro Football Talk when it first started breaking stories. A joke of a web site that people bashed. Now people go there religiously for breaking football news.
Don't let phillysportsline get you down guys. I just visited there -- for the first time -- and the writing is on a third grade level.
Go to the sportsnetwork for all your breaking news....they are the best at what they do...actually...the people who write the game wraps kind of remind of the ones who write for this site...interesting...When is Jon Leclare coming back?
At least Philly Sportsline has advertisers. They can easily keep clicking refresh as well to drive up hits like these guys do. All you have to do is look at their unique visitors and they make up way less than half of the visitors which is horrible.
Not for nothing, what is your relationship with PhillySportsline. As I am the President and I do not appriatiate you bashing this site. The Witers here are pros and I see them in the locker rooms and at most games in Philly. Once again I thank John for the work he does and If you are just a visitor of PhillySportsline I thank you for the praise of our site as we work hard to bring the best sports news and photos to Philly. However I can tell you the writers here are not just fans of the game they are paid sports writers that go to the games and talk to players.
If you don't like reading the "news" here don't you think you should stick to your newspapers and other websites??? If you don't like what you're hearing, change the channel. Or, better yet, listen to the radio. This is all about preference, and if you PREFER not to hear it here, take your ignorance somewhere else. Or just get a life. Stop drinking at your desk, or get out of bed and go to work. If you want to write on or for a website start your OWN blog, there's already too many mouths out there, you'd probably fit right in......
A lisp, why do you say that? I know I am a bad writer, thats why I take pictures. anyway I think I speak well and some say I sexy but I will leave that up to you. ha ha.

Was your source the newspaper? Yea, I read that article as well.......
The Phanatic is back in full effect! Claiming they break news with their "sources".
Did you hear this one in the upper level of the Wachovia Center or do your sources just hang out in the Diamond Club in the Bank?
The haters man their computers 24-7...Just curious what newspaper did you read this in two weeks ago?
It wasn't in a newspaper. Great work guys!
Dec. 25th Chicago Tribune:
Chicago Tribune -
Chris Webber's days in Philadelphia, according to team sources, may soon be winding down.
He has become a big distraction in the locker room by reportedly lawyering younger players.
A buyout is not beyond the realm of possibility
That would be the paper that I read.
here's the link if you want to read some more.

GET A LIFE!!
Phagnatic Mag is pretty good at scouring the internet and stealing info and saying it comes from their "sources"
They have been doing it since they started to drive up hits.
Check out www.phillysportsline.com for local Philly coverage. All Philly, all the time. We promise that.
it doesn't mean these guys didn't put in the work to find the same thing.
hahahahahahaha.
It is hard work to use the google search engine.

ESPN is a national news network that more than 10 people pay attention to a day.
You are supposed to be a blog yet you act like ESPN and use that as your defense. I don't get it.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......keep arguing dude. It drives up their hits. Great work fellas.

I think the most important thing is that Philly Sportsline actually has a well-functioning site.
As a sports fan advertisers and a well functioning site is what I look for...LOL...what a moron.
