St. Joe's announces TV sked

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's has finalized game times and the  television schedule for the 2010-11 men's basketball season. The  Hawks will open the year on Friday, November 12 hosting Western
Kentucky at the Michael J. Hagan '85 Arena at 7:30 p.m.

Saint Joseph's will make at least eight appearances on national and  regional television this season beginning on December 1 when the Hawks visit Drexel. That game will be seen on The Comcast Network at
7:30 p.m. More television appearances could be announced.

The first national telecast for the Hawks will be on December 3 when the Hawks take on rival Villanova at The Pavilion, with the 8:30 p.m. game being seen on ESPNU. The Hawks will also appear on the network
on Saturday, January 29 when they host Temple at The Palestra, with an early starting time of 11 a.m.

SJU will also take part in ESPN's "College Hoops Marathon" on November 16 when it visits Penn State, with the contest being streamed on ESPN3.com.

When Saint Joseph's visits Saint Louis on January 15, the game will be shown on Comcast SportsNet at 2 p.m., while the Big 5 contest with Penn at The Palestra on January 22 will be televised by The Comcast
Network at 7 p.m.

Beginning with the February 13 game against Fordham, which will be played at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J., the Hawks will have four consecutive televised games. The Fordham contest will be
televised on Comcast SportsNet at 4 p.m., while the home game with Xavier on February 16 will be seen on Comcast SportsNet on a tape-delay basis at 11 p.m. Comcast SportsNet will also televise the Saint Joseph's at Temple game on February 20 at 4 p.m. while The Comcast Network will broadcast the Hawks' game at Massachusetts at 7 p.m. on February 23.

All of the games from the Atlantic 10 Tournament from Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. will be televised. The Quarterfinals on March 11 will be syndicated through the CBS College Sports Network while
the Semifinals on March 12 will be seen on CBS College Sports. The A-10 Championship on March 13 will be broadcast nationally on CBS at 1 p.m.

This season, Saint Joseph's will also offer its fans an enhanced streaming broadcast of non-televised games at Hagan Arena thru Hawks' All-Access. More details and subscription information to come on
