Eagles' Peters to have surgery

Eagles coach Andy Reid has confirmed left tackle Jason Peters has a meniscus tear in his injured knee sna will need surgery. The typical shelf time for such an injury is two to three weeks.

The Birds received better news regarding DT Broderick Bunkley. The team originally thought Bunkley had ligament damage in his elbow but it's now being called a sprain. The veteran is out for Sunday but is will be considered day-to-day from there.

Meanwhile, CB Asante Samuel and WR Riley Cooper, who are both recovering from concussions, are back at practice. QB Michael Vick, however, not throwing yet, indicating Kevin Kolb will get another start this week.
