The Flyers have recalled goaltender Jeremy Duchesne from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms.
Duchesne will be available to play in tonight's Flyers-Islanders game at Nassau Veterans' Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.
Duchesne, 23, has appeared in four games with Adirondack this season, posting a 1-3-0 record with a 2.94 goals-against average and .899 save percentage. This is his second recall to the Flyers after he was
originally recalled by Philadelphia on Mar. 17. He dressed, but did not play in four games (Mar. 18-23), serving as back up for goaltender Brian Boucher.
In addition to his time with the Phantoms, Duchesne has appeared in 19 games with the Flyers' ECHL affiliate, the Kalamazoo Wings, posting a 9-4-3-2 record with one shutout, a 3.20 GAA and .904 save percentage.
A native of Silver Spring, Md., Duchesne was originally selected by the Flyers in the fourth round (119th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
