Wings change date to accomodate Flyers

The Philadelphia Wings (4-10) are rescheduling their game with the Orlando Titans (8-5) at the Wachovia Center, originally scheduled for Sunday, April 25 at 5 p.m., to Friday, April 23 at 7 p.m. to accommodate a possible Game Six of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals between the Philadelphia Flyers and the New Jersey Devils. Should a Game Six be necessary, it will be played at the Wachovia Center on Sunday, April 25, at a yet to be determined time.

This is actually the second time the Wings have had to reschedule this date. The game was originally scheduled for February 6, 2010, but was postponed due to a winter storm in the Philadelphia Region. All tickets from the previously scheduled Wings game (February 6, 2010) and the rescheduled date (April 25, 2010) will be honored on the new date Friday, April 23 at 7 p.m.

The first 8,000 fans who attend the game will receive a free 2010 Wings team photo.

The Wings (4-10) will travel to Minnesota to face the Swarm (5-9) at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday, April 17 at 8:35 p.m. The Wings defeated the Swarm, 20-11, in their only match-up this season (March 13, 2010).
