Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren issued the following statement on Wednesday morning regarding forwards Jeff Carter and Simon Gagne:
"Jeff Carter and Simon Gagne suffered injuries to their right foot in Tuesday night’s game. Neither will be available to play Thursday, and both players are listed as day-to-day."
The Flyers lead the New Jersey Devils in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series, three games to one. Game 5 is set for Thursday night at the Prudential Center (7:00 p.m., CSN).
