Phils avoid arbitration with Durbin

The Phillies avoided salary arbitration with Chad Durbin on Monday, agreeing to a one-year, $2.125 million contract with the middle reliever.


Durbin went 2-2 with a 4.39 ERA in 59 appearances last season.
