*TE Brent Celek’s 76 catches this season were the second-highest, single-season total in team history among tight ends. Keith Jackson owns the record with 81 in 1988 … His 971 receiving yards rank second in team history among tight ends, trailing Pete Retzlaff’s 1,190 in 1965 … His eight touchdowns were tied with Retzlaff for second-highest total by an Eagles tight end. Retzlaff had 10 in 1965, eight in 1964 and eight in 1961

*WR DeSean Jackson had a career high 63 catches for 1,167 yards and nine touchdowns, marking the highest receiving yardage and touchdown totals by an Eagle since 2004, when Terrell Owens had 14 TDs and 1,200 yards … Among all players with at least 10 touchdowns scored in a season, Jackson’s average length of 52.8 yards is the highest in NFL history. Chicago’s Harlon Hill previously held the NFL record with a 50.6 average set in 1956

*he Eagles became the first team in NFL history to boast three players that are 24 years-or-younger with 50-plus catches, 750-plus yards and four-plus touchdowns (WR Jeremy Maclin – 21 years old; Jackson – 23 years old; Celek – 24 years old). It also marked the first time in team history that two players compiled 900 or more receiving yards in the same season (Jackson, Celek)

*In 2009, the Eagles defense picked off opposing quarterbacks in 13 of 16 games and had 38 takeaways (25 interceptions, 13 fumble recoveries), their highest total since also compiling 38 in 2002 (15 interceptions, 23 fumble recoveries). It was also the highest interception total by the Eagles since amassing 28 in 1999

*With a 38.3 net punting average this season, P Sav Rocca broke his own team record of 37.9 (set in 2008). He also set a career high with 26 punts landed inside the 20-yard line this season

*K David Akers connected on 32 field goals this season, which is the second-highest total of his career (33 in 2008), and in Eagles history. His 139 points this season ranked second in the NFL behind Nate Kaeding’s 146 and was the second-highest output in team history (he had 144 points in 2008)

*The Eagles scored a franchise record 429 points this season. In fact, Andy Reid’s Eagles have accounted for the top four scoring outputs in team history (416 in 2008, 415 in 2002, 398 in 2006) … The offense also set a team record with 4,348 passing yards this season … With 5,726 total net yards this season, the Eagles amassed the third-highest total in team history … RB LeSean McCoy’s 935 scrimmage yards this season trailed only Jackson’s team rookie record of 1,008 set in 2008 … WR Jeremy Maclin finished the season with 55 receptions and 762 yards. *LB Will Witherspoon played in his 17th regular season game (6 for St. Louis, last 11 for Philadelphia) this season, becoming the 5th player in the bye era (since 1990) to do so, joining Chris Singleton (NE-Mia. in 1993), Dexter Carter (NYJ-SF in 1995), Jerry Rice (Oak.-Sea. in 2004), and Micah Ross (SD-Car. in 2004) … CB Sheldon Brown played in his 128th consecutive game as an Eagle, passing Jerry Sisemore for the 8th-longest streak in team history … McNabb played in his 148th game as an Eagle, tying Bobby Walston and Ken Clarke for 10th place in team history
