Russell making wild claims in Harrison case

By John McMullen

(The Phanatic Magazine) - ABC's Keith Russell made some wild claims regarding the Marvin Harrison case on Miami sports radio Monday.

The 6ABC sports guy told Jason Jackson of WQAM that sources are saying that the man allegedly shot in the hand after leaving Harrison's North Philadelphia bar last Tuesday was there to carry out a gangland-style hit on the Colts' star receiver.

Russell said Harrison was targeted for the sins of his father, who is reportedly incarcerated.

No other media source has hinted at that conclusion and Russell has yet to make the claim anywhere in Philadelphia.

Though I'm a Colts and Marvin Harrison fan, I tend to lean on the side of this "hit" story is completely fabricated as Marvin Harrison's father died when Marvin was 2.
