Eagles coach Andy Reid's son, Garrett, was sent to state prison
Wednesday after admitting he smuggled 89 prescription pills into a county jail.
The 25-year-old Reid pleaded guilty to drug smuggling charges and could face as much as two years in state prison.

Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said Reid could be released earlier to a less restrictive facility if he
is accepted into a drug-treatment program, however.
Reid is already serving time in a Montco jail for a his heroin-induced car crash that injured another driver.
Jail officials claim he smuggled the pills inside in his rectum when he
surrendered last fall.
