Eagles injury assessment

Here is Andy Reid's latest Eagles injury update:

Guard Shawn Andrews - ankle sprain
- “That’s what it looks like right now. We’ve got him in a boot and on crutches, and he is doing better. We’ll just see how he does down the road here.”

Free safety Brian Dawkins - sore Achilles - “You’ve seen Brian out here working out a little bit. He’s getting back in the swing of things.

Cornerback CB Lito Sheppard - abdominal strain - “(Lito), is doing better, and we’ll see how he continues to progress here.”

Tight end L.J. Smith - groin strain - “It is not related to the (previous) surgery, but it’s in that area, obviously. We’ll just see how he does over the next few days here.”

Guard Scott Young - sprained knee - “(Young) sprained his knee here in this practice and we’ll see how he does overnight.”

Right tackle Jon Runyan - lower back tightness - “We got him in (out of practice) and got him some treatment.”

Wide receiver/return specialist Bill Sampy - quad contusion - “(Bill) is making progress; still probably the furthest one away.”

Linebacker Dedrick Roper - foot strain

Cornerback Dustin Fox - sore Achilles
