Union to play pair of matches in Tampa

Philadelphia Union, of Major League Soccer, announce two mid-March matches as part of their spring exhibition season against MLS FC Dallas and USL-1 Tampa Bay Rowdies.

On Sunday, March 14, Philadelphia Union will meet MLS Western Conference foe FC Dallas with kickoff set for 7 p.m. at the University of Tampa's Pepin Stadium. Then, five nights later, on Friday, March 19, Team Manager Peter Nowak's club will again take to the pitch at Pepin Stadium to take on the USL-1 Tampa Bay Rowdies. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

"What a great opportunity these games will be for our team and our supporters," said Philadelphia Union President Tom Veit. "While the technical staff will have a chance to evaluate our players as they ready for our inaugural opener a week or so later in Seattle, our Founding Members can get a weekend in sunny Florida to see the Union and catch a Phillies game too."

Tickets for both games will be $8 for adults (18 and over) and $5 for children (17 and under). For ticket information, please call: 813.257.3100.
