The New Arena Football League will re-debut with 15 teams this April, but the Philadelphia Soul, the original league's last champion, is not one of them.
In a conference call with the media designed to re-introduce the league commissioner Jerry Kurz is targeting four markets for expansion in 2011: Philadelphia, Denver, Pittsburgh, and Southern California.
Kurz said the league would love to get the Soul team led by Jon Bon Jovi and Ron Jaworski back and have been in talks to do so. Kurz added no one has done more for the league than Bon Jovi and his group.
