Gratton heads back to Phantoms

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have reassigned forward Josh Gratton to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms, according club General Manager Paul Holmgren.

Gratton, 26, was scoreless with 31 penalty minutes in 11 games for the Flyers this season. He has recorded two goals and three assists for five points and 20 penalty minutes in nine AHL games this season. He is scoreless in two games with the Phantoms. He posted five points (2G,3A) in seven games for the Nashville Predators’ AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals. He was acquired by the Flyers from Nashville in exchange for Tim Ramholt on October 30, 2008. He was signed as a free agent by Nashville on July 9, 2008.
