Flyers continue reshuffling

The Philadelphia Flyers reassigned forwards Boyd Kane and Nate Raduns to the Phantoms and reaccled forward Josh Gratton.

Kane, 30, was scoreless in one game for the Flyers this season. He has recorded five goals and two assists for seven points and 12 penalty minutes in 10 games for the Phantoms this season. He leads the team in goals (5) and is tied for third on the team in points (7).

Raduns, 24, was also scoreless in one game for the Flyers this season. He has posted three points (1G,2A) and 14 penalty minutes in 10 games for the Phantoms this season.

Gratton, 26, has recorded two goals and three assists for five points and 20 penalty minutes in nine AHL games this season. He is scoreless in two games with the Phantoms. He posted five points (2G,3A) in seven games for the Nashville Predators’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals. He was acquired by the Flyers from Nashville in exchange for Tim Ramholt on October 30, 2008. He was signed as a free agent by Nashville on July 9, 2008.

He split the 2007-08 season between the Phoenix Coyotes, San Antonio Rampage (Phoenix’s AHL affiliate) and the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack. He was scoreless in one regular season game for the Coyotes. In 58 AHL regular season games, Gratton registered 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points and 196 penalty minutes.

In 67 career NHL regular season games over parts of three seasons with the Flyers (2005-06) and Phoenix (2005-06 through 2007-08), Gratton posted three points (2G,1A) and 237 penalty minutes. He was scoreless in three regular season games for the Flyers during the 2005-06 season. He was traded by the Flyers, along with Florida’s second round pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and Tampa Bay’s second round pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, to Phoenix in exchange for Denis Gauthier on March 9, 2006. He was originally signed as a free agent by the Flyers on July 27, 2004
