Nocioni injures ankle

Phil Jasner is reporting that the Sixers' Andres Nocioni suffered a sprained ankle while practicing with the Argentinian National Team and is out for an indefinite period pending the results of an MRI.

Ed Stefanski told Jasner he was still awaiting the testing results.

''Until then, we don't know the severity of the situation,'' Stefanski said.

Nocioni was acquired with Spencer Hawes from Sacramento in a trade for Samuel Dalembert. He averaged 8.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 75 games with the Kings last season.
