J. Michael Bennet, supervising pharmacist at Applied Pharmacy Services, was sentenced to four years in prison after being convicted of participating in a nationwide conspiracy to illegally sell anabolic steroids.
Evidence showed 762,388 dosages of steroids shipped between April 4, 2004 and August 30, 2006.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Donna Dobbins listed seven celebrities that records show were shipped steroids sent by Bennett as: UFC fighter Shane Carwin , pro wrestlers Kurt Angle and Bob Howard (Bob Holly), along with pro bodybuilers Tony Freeman, Quincy Taylor, Dennis Newman and Troy Zuccolotto. There were also seven other pro wrestlers not named and two baseball players.
