Eagles worth $1.1 billion

Forbes annual valuation of NFL franchises has pegged the Eagles worth at $1.1 billion, seventh in the NFL.   Jeff Lurie bought the team in 1994 for $185 million.

Understand that's what the magazine feels the organization is worth and has nothing to do with every day operating expenses. The team's annual revenue is $260 million with $141 million of that going directly to player expenses. Overall, Forbes pegs the team's annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization at $34.7 million, meaning a profit margin of $15 to $17 million dollars.
