(The Phanatic Magzine) - The Green Bay Packers have been awarded wide receiver Andrew Brewer on waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles, according Adam Caplan.
Brewer, 25, arrives in Green Bay after spending the past week in camp with the Eagles, who signed him on July 31 because of mounting injuries among their receivers.
Brewer, a Northwestern product, spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons in the UFL with the Omaha Nighthawks.
