Jon Runyan Special on Comcast SportsNet

PHILADELPHIA- (November 4, 2010) – Comcast SportsNet’s Neil Hartman  follows former Philadelphia Eagle Jon Runyan during his campaign for U.S.  Congress in New Jersey’s 3rd district.  Comcast SportsNet had exclusive  behind-the-scenes access to Jon along the campaign trail, which spanned  nine months and 52 towns. Coverage includes everything from the  announcement of his bid to his big win on election night. During the  30-minute program, fans will see Runyan’s transition from professional  football player to Congressman-elect, plus see first-hand the daily grind  of the campaign trail and the toll it takes on Jon’s family.  “See Jon Run”  premieres on Comcast SportsNet on Sunday, November 7 at 10:30 p.m.

Runyan spent 14 years in the NFL, including nine seasons with the  Philadelphia Eagles. He retired at the end of the 2010 season after playing  for the San Diego Chargers.

“See Jon Run” premieres on Sunday, November 7 at 10:30 on Comcast  SportsNet. It will re-air on Comcast SportsNet on Monday, November 8 at  8:30 p.m.; Tuesday, November 9 at 11:30 p.m.; Friday, November 12 at 4:30  p.m. “See Jon Run” also airs on The Comcast Network on Wednesday, November
10 at 7 p.m. and Friday, November 12 at 1 p.m.  “See Jon Run” will be   available to Comcast ONDemand customers beginning Monday, November 8.

By the way, classless shot by ESPN's Sal Paolantonio in the Camden Courier Post after Runyan's win.

"Of all the NFL players I've come across, Runyan as among the least articulate that I had ever covered,"
Paolantonio told the newspaper.

I've been in more than a few NFL locker rooms myself and I'm not claiming Runyan comes across as a Rhodes Scholar by any means but he's always been a class act and that statement is not even close to being true.

It only highlights SalPal's more than obvious political leanings and his own inflated ego that is well known among the local media.
