J.D. Durbin remembered he was J.D. Durbin last night, which also reminded fans stricken with Phillies Phever lately that football season is right around the corner.
Perfect timing, as the Eagles roster was announced this weekend. A couple times, actually. First, prematurely on the team’s website, and the second time later in the day, while in the midst of talking five mistakenly reported cuts off the Walt Whitman Bridge.
The end result is nothing too shocking. Dirk Johnson’s “Boogie Nights” are over with the Birds, booted out by the “Thunder From Down Under,” Sav Rocca (and I must say that he instantly arrives with the best nickname on the squad). More >>
