Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Dhani Jones told the NFL Network Thursday that he intends to sign with the the New Orleans Saints.
The 29-year old Jones played in all 16 regular season games in 2006 and totaled 55 tackles and 21 assists with one-half sack but was roundly criticized by most Philadelphia fans for his lack of playmaking skills.
"It was a difficult (decision), but at the same time we're excited about going to New Orleans," Jones said. "What Reggie Bush and Coach Sean Payton bring to the table, it's going to be an exceptional year."
