Flyers bad luck continues

By Michael Rushton

Well, it just seems as if the hockey gods just wanted to stick it to the Flyers one last time.

Despite having a 48.2 percent chance at landing the first overall pick in 2007 NHL draft, the Flyers will pick second. That's because Chicago cashed in on its eight percent chance and landed the number one pick.

By rule, the Flyers could fall no further than second, which is where the team will select from when the draft goes down on June 22.

Phoenix will pick third in the draft, while Los Angeles and Washington round out the top five.
