Eric Gagne with be a.....well, no one really knows just yet -- except the former unhittable relief pitcher and his agent, the coy and crafty Scott Boras. The one certainty, according to Boras, is Gagne will have a new home by the end of the week.

**In perhaps more Philly related news, I just listened to Charlie Manuel's interview on XM radio. The word wizard himself didn't have much new to say, but two things struck me. First, he thinks the necessity for "protection" behind Ryan Howard is a myth and hopes the slugger will become more patient as he matures as a hitter. Secondly, he LOVES Shane Victorino. Whether that means the end of Aaron Rowand or foreshadows a great fielding, poor hitting outfield remains to be seen**
