The Eagles added rookie free agent linebacker Terence Thomas.
Thomas (6-0, 235) was a four-year letterman at Villanova, starting all 53 games over the course of his collegiate career and registering 327 tackles, 17.5 sacks, six forced fumbles and one interception. A team captain as a senior, Thomas garnered 2010 All-CAA Football First Team honors after posting 83 tackles, two sacks, three pass breakups and one fumble recovery. A native of Summit, New Jersey, Thomas attended the Lawrenceville School where he was an All-Prep All-State selection and also earned All-Prep honors in track and field.
In other news rookie free agent running back Noel Devine of West Virginia left the team over the weekend and was waived with the “left squad” designation.
Meanwhile, veteran cornerback Asante Samuel arrived at Lehigh Monday morning and a "strained hamsting" alert has been issued.
