Sports Business Journal is reporting that the UFC has signed a multi-year deal with FOX beginning in 2012, effectively ending the company's seven year association with SPIKE TV.
The deal, which is believed to be for $90 million per yer, would put most of the programming, including the Ultimate Fighter reality series on live fight cards on the FX cable network. However, FOX will air up to four live events per year, marking the first time UFC would ever appear on a major network.
Another Fox Network, Fuel, is also scheduled to have UFC content.
The deal also means the end to UFC progamming on Versus, which be will be relaunched as NBC Sports next year.
