The Eagles re-signed veteran offensive guard Reggie Wells on Saturday and released wide receiver Brandon Caleb and defensive tackle Charlie Noonan.
Wells (6-foot-4, 318) appeared in eight games (one start) for the Eagles in 2010 after being acquired by the team in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals prior to the start of the regular season.
Originally a sixth round draft choice of Arizona in 2003, Wells appeared in 104 games (90 starts) in seven seasons with the Cardinals at three different positions (78 at left guard, 10 at right tackle, and 2 at left tackle). The South Park, PA, native played collegiately at Clarion University, where he was a four-year starter and earned NCAA Division II All-America honors as a senior.
