Eagles defensive tackle Mike Patterson rejoined the team at Lehigh on Friday, just two days after suffering a seizure that the team believes was caused by a congenital blood vessel irregularity in his brain.
Earlier in the day Patterson’s agent, J.R. Rickert, said he expects the 27-year-old USC product to be cleared for football activities in a few days.
“He is scheduled to see a neurologist in Philadelphia in the next day or so,” Rickert said in a statement. “We anticipate that he will be cleared to resume normal team activities within a few days.”
The Eagles had no immediate comment on Rickert’s statement.
