Boston Globe, any deal involving the gritty veteran left-hander would require the Sox to give up infield prospect Xander Bogaerts.
Bogaerts, the 20-year-old native of Aruba, is hitting .279 with eight home runs and 24 RBI in 41 games at Triple-A Pawtucket.
