Kapono nearing deal with Lakers

Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Lakers are on the verge of agreeing to a two-year,   $1.3 million dollar deal with Sixers free agent forward Jason Kapono. A one-dimensional player, Kapono never fit in during his stay in Philly and the Sixers had no interest in bringing him back.
