Sixers announce TV sked


PHILADELPHIA, PA. – The Sixers announced their television broadcast schedule for the 2011-12 season, with broadcast partner Comcast SportsNet leading the way by carrying 60 games, while The Comcast Network picks up the remaining six games.  All 66 of those broadcasts will be available in high-definition.

The Sixers also have six home games which will air nationally on ESPN (March 2 vs. Golden State, March 4 vs. Chicago, March 16 vs. Miami, March 21 vs. New York, March 23 vs. Boston and April 7 vs. Orlando) in addition to coverage on either Comcast SportsNet or The Comcast Network.

NBATV is scheduled to carry three Sixers games (blacked out within 75 miles of the team’s home market) over the course of the season, which are also available on Comcast SportsNet

Additionally, Comcast SportsNet will air both of the Sixers preseason games against the Washington Wizards on December 16 at  Verizon Center and on December 20 at Wells Fargo Center.

All regular season games carried by Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network are available in high-definition.  Each of the games televised by Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network will be preceded by a half-hour pregame show and “Sixers Postgame Live” will air immediately following every game.

The Comcast Network is set to host the Sixers home game vs. Orlando on April 7 and an additional five road games, including April 3 at Miami.
