Eagles officially announce the signings of 7 to reserve/future deals

The Philadelphia Eagles today announced they have signed the following players: C A.Q. Shipley, G/C Dallas Reynolds, WR Rod Harper, TE Cornelius Ingram, WR Jeremy Williams, TE John Nalbone and WR Sinorice Moss.

Moss (5-8, 185) was a second-round draft pick of the New York Giants in 2006 and went on to play in 37 games, recording 39 receptions for 421 yards and three touchdowns. He also returned 24 kickoffs for 465 yards and 11 punts for 74 yards. The 27-year-old Moss was placed on the Injured Reserve list on 8/31/10 after suffering a sports hernia and was waived on 11/9. Moss played collegiately at Miami, following the footsteps of his brother, Santana, who is a veteran of 10 NFL seasons with the NY Jets and Washington Redskins. After graduating, Sinorice initiated the Dare to Dream Foundation in order to help challenge children and teachers to take an “I can” attitude in life, empowering kids with the proper mentality of making dreams come true and providing them with the educational tools to succeed in life.

Nalbone (6-4, 255) played in two games in 2010 for the Miami Dolphins but was released on 9/21. He spent a brief stint on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad, and finished the season as a member of the Denver Broncos practice squad after signing with them on 10/20. Nalbone, 24, was originally a fifth-round draft pick of Miami in 2009, following his collegiate career at Monmouth where he compiled 100 receptions for 1,073 yards and nine touchdowns.

Shipley (6-1, 315) spent the entire 2010 season on the Eagles practice squad after joining the team in the 2010 offseason. Originally a seventh-round draft choice of the Steelers in 2009, he also spent his rookie campaign on Pittsburgh’s practice squad. Shipley was a three-year starter at Penn State, a 2008 All-America selection, and the recipient of the Rimington Trophy, which is awarded annually to the nation’s best center.

Reynolds (6-4, 320) also spent the entire 2010 season and most of the 2009 campaign on the Eagles practice squad after originally joining the team as a rookie free agent in 2009. He was promoted to the active roster for the final regular season game in 2009. A two-time All-Mountain West performer at BYU, Reynolds played all five offensive line positions in college.

Harper (6-0, 209) joined the Eagles practice squad on 9/22 and spent the remainder of the 2010 campaign in that role. Originally a rookie free agent signing of the Green Bay Packers in 2008, Harper spent the 2009 spring season with the Arkansas Twisters of the Arena Football 2 League, where he posted 107 catches for 1,375 yards and 38 touchdowns. He later signed with the New Orleans Saints on 6/4/09 and spent that season with the team, but was released midway through the 2010 preseason. A three-year letterman at Murray State, Harper finished his career ranked third on the school’s all-time list in receptions (128) and sixth in receiving yards (1,653), while adding 20 touchdowns.

Ingram (6-4, 250) spent two separate stints on the Eagles practice squad in 2010, where he finished the season. Originally a fifth round draft choice of the Eagles in 2009, he spent his rookie campaign on the Injured Reserve list with a knee injury. He remained with the team through the 2010 preseason but was released as part of the team’s final roster cut down. The 25-year-old Ingram played collegiately at Florida, where he amassed 64 catches for 888 yards and 8 touchdowns in his career.

Williams (6-0, 203) spent the entire 2010 season on the Eagles practice squad. Originally a rookie free agent signing of the San Diego Chargers in 2010, Williams (6-0, 203) was released as part of the team’s final roster cut down. The 23-year-old starred collegiately at Tulane, earning honorable mention All-Conference USA honors as a senior in 2009 after recording 84 receptions for 1,113 yards and seven touchdowns. He finished his career ranked fourth in school history in receptions (197) and receiving yards (2,807), and seventh in touchdown catches with 19.
