Eagles' Jackson has surgery

Eagles center Jamaal Jackson has undergone surgery to have his right triceps tendon repaired by team physician Peter DeLuca of the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia.

Jackson suffered the injury during Sunday’s season opening game vs. the Green Bay Packers. He was officially placed on the Injured Reserve list on Monday and will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2010 season.
