Ex-Knick Jackson turns down interwies with Sixers

Former Knicks guard Mark Jackson has decided to decline an opportunity to interview for the Sixers' coaching vacancy, according to his agent Steve Kauffman.

"It’s just not the right situation for him at this time,’’Kauffman told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Jackson is expected to interview for the New Orleans Hornets job and has been mentioned as a possible candidate for the Los Angeles Clippers and New Jersey Nets gigs.
