The NFL Network's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Eagles are on the verge of completing a trade that will send CB Lito Sheppard to the New York Jets for a fifth-round draft choice in 2009 and a conditional 2010 draft choice.
The conditional pick could be as high as a second-round pick or as low as a fourth. The deal is pending a physical which Sheppard will have tomorrow.
