Flyers to put individual tix on sale September 20

FLYERS TO PUT INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKETS ON SALE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

As anticipation mounts for the upcoming Philadelphia Flyers hockey season, the team is making individual game tickets available on Saturday, September 20 at 10 a.m. Tickets for all 41 home games will be available via the team's official website (philadelphiaflyers.com), over the phone through ComcastTIX at 1-800-298-4200 or in person at the Wachovia Center box office.

The Flyers, who advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals last season, will open the 2008-09 season “Hungry for More” when they face the New York Rangers at the Wachovia Center on Saturday, October 11 at 7 p.m.

New this year is the opportunity for Flyers fans to “load their tickets” in increments of $10 or $25 to be used at the Wachovia Center Fan Gear stands or at any of the concession stands or hospitality locations within the arena during a game.

For those Flyers fans really “Hungry for More,” the team is offering seats in an “All You Can Eat” section which includes unlimited nachos, including cheese and salsa; popcorn, soft drinks, soft pretzels; hot dogs ice cream, and popcorn. Seats are located in the Mezzanine Level, Section 216 through 218, Rows 8 through 11.

Highlighting the Flyers home schedule are games against division rivals, the New Jersey Devils on Saturday, October 25, Thursday, December 4, and Monday, March 23; the New York Islanders on Thursday, October 30, Tuesday, December 9 and Saturday, February 14; the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday, December 13, Tuesday, January 13, and Saturday, February 21; and the Rangers again on Sunday, March 14 and Sunday, April 12.

The Flyers will face conference rivals, the Montreal Canadiens on Monday, October 13 and Friday, February 27; the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday, December 23, and Thursday, February 12; the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, November 8, and Tuesday, December 2; the Boston Bruins on Wednesday, February 4, and Sunday, March 29; the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday, February 19, and Tuesday, March 10; the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, January 10, and Friday, April 3; the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday, November 28, and Thursday, December 11; the Washington Capitals on Saturday, December 20 and Thursday, March 12; the Florida Panthers on Thursday, March 26, and Tuesday, April 7; and the Atlanta Thrashers on Sunday, November 16, and Wednesday, January 21.

This season marks the return of several Western Conference teams in the National Hockey League to the Wachovia Center, including the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday, November 2; the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday, November 22; the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday, October 22; the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday, December 16; the Dallas Stars on Monday, November 24; the Minnesota Wild on Thursday, January 8; the Los Angeles Kings Wednesday, February 25; the Calgary Flames on Thursday, March 5; and the Nashville Predators on Saturday, March 7.

Individual game tickets for the 2008-09 season are $96 for all lower level seats; $63 for rows one through seven of the Mezzanine level or rows eight through 11 of the Mezzanine center sections; $53 for Mezzanine level (non center sections) rows eight through 11; $46 for rows 12 through 15 of the Mezzanine level; $26 for rows 12 through 15 of the Mezzanine level (behind the goals); and $20 for adults or $10 for children in the family section.

The Flyers will continue to offer tickets in the two Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms Family Sections (Mezzanine Level, Sections 222 and 222A) this season. Tickets for all October, November and December games in the Family Section, priced at $20 for adults and $10 for children, will also be available for sale on Saturday, September 20, at 10 a.m.
