Flyers open rookie camp on September 15

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that their Rookie Camp at The Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey, will run from Monday, September 15 through Thursday, September 18. Thirty players are scheduled to attend the camp. The camp will conclude with a game between the Flyers rookies and the Washington Capitals rookies at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia on Thursday, September 18, at 3:00 p.m.

Among the players participating in this Rookie Camp are Flyers’ first-round draft picks, Steve Downie (2005), Claude Giroux (2006) and Luca Sbisa (2008).
