Villanova's Brzoka set to transfer

VILLANOVA, Pa. – Guard Mislav Brozja plans to transfer to another university to continue his career after spending one season with the Wildcats.

Brzoja, a 6-foot-4 native of Zagreb, Croatia, appeared in 17 games for the Wildcats in 2012-13 for a total of 41 minutes. He averaged 0.1 points per game. Prior to that Brzoja played one season of high school basketball at Traders Point Christian Academy in Indiana after coming to the United States in 2011.

“Mislav is a great teammate and outstanding student who was a big part of our team’s success last year,” stated Villanova head coach Jay Wright. “He is interested in pursuing a more prominent role with another program and we support his decision. We want what’s best for Mislav.”
