Sixers' Williams to opt-out

Sixers leading scorer Lou Williams has reportedly decided to opt out of the final year of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.

Williams is scheduled to make $6.4 million in 2012-13 if he doesn't opt-out.

Andre Iguodala's recent criticism of Williams' defense in Sports Illustrated likely contributed heavily to Williams' mindset.
