Cowher's House; What did Washington do?

By Jared Trexler

Sometimes the world of sports gets so caught up in the written word that it forgets the images behind the great events, the big decisions.

That's about to change. Weekly, The Phanatic will present to you ONE picture and ONE video that encapsulates the week that was in sports.

Last week, headlines were made across the Keystone State in Pittsburgh, where head coach Bill Cowher resigned after 15 seasons as top man. Cowher reasonsed that after the many sacrifices of his family, it was time he sacrificed for the well being of his spouse and youngest daughter.

The sacrifice is this 7,000-sq ft mansion in the heart of Raleigh. Maybe the bigger question is how anyone can get a piece of real estate like that for just $2.5 million. The message: MOVE SOUTH.

For the video, we move to the world of college hoops. The Duke Blue Devils have been living dangerously all season, leading the conference in field goal percentage defense but looking lost at times on the offensive end of the floor. The inbalance finally caught up to them versus an ATHLETIC Virginia Tech club. I capitalize "ATHLETIC" because of the clip you are about to see. As a reference, Greg Paulus is listed at 6'1", while Deron Washington is 6'7".

Can we stop with the freaking Steeler updates! No one gives a crap but this writer. This has nothing to do with Philadelphia. Cowher is a fraud. Give any coach as much time as him, and they will win a Super Bowl too.

That Washington move was sick!! Incredible athlete. I for one am a huge Eagles fan and don't mind the national updates. MP sure loves to read The Phanatic for the amount of hate he gives out.
