Galaxy dominate Union 5-1

Carson, Ca. – The Los Angeles Galaxy dominated the Union en route to an easy 5-1 win at StubHub Center Saturday Night.

Baggio Husidic opened the scoring for the Galaxy in the 23rd minute with Juninho, Gyasi Zardes, Stefan Stefan Ishazaki and Sebastian Lletget later adding to the tally.

C.J. Sapong scored his fifth goal of the season and for the Union in the 58th minute. Philadelphia is now 1-6-1 all-time against LA, with the only victory occurring in 2012.

With the loss, the Union fall to ninth place in Eastern Conference with 15 points out of 17 games.

The Union return to action on Wednesday, June 24 at 7 p.m. ET against the Seattle Sounders in PPL Park.
