Paterno statue coming down

(The Phanatic Magazine) - Multiple reports Friday morning say the statue of former coach Joe Paterno statue will be coming down at Penn State this weekend.

ESPN/CBS reporter Bonnie Bernstein has said that the school’s Board of Trustees voted to take down the statue during a conference call Thursday night.


Penn State spokesperson Dave la Torre  issued a response soon after the news broke saying:  “I’m not aware of any decision being made.”
