PHILADELPHIA - November 3, 2011--Saint Joseph's University and SportsRadio 610 WIP have announced a new partnership for the airing of Hawks' men's basketball beginning this season.

"I am delighted that a legendary sports radio station like WIP is joining forces with my program," said SJU coach Phil Martelli. "My hope and dream for this season is to re-energize our passionate fan base in every way possible. This partnership is certainly a step in the right direction."

"We are proud to partner with Saint Joseph's University and add men's basketball to the great roster of play by play aired on SportsRadio 610 WIP," said Marc Rayfield, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, CBS RADIO Philadelphia.

The Saint Joseph's broadcast team of Matt Martucci and Joe Lunardi will return for their third season together, while Lunardi is entering his 22nd season as the Hawks' color analyst.

SportsRadio 610 WIP will also be the home of Phil Martelli's "HawkTalk" radio show, which will air once a week beginning in January.

SJU fans can also hear the audio streaming of the game broadcasts through the Saint Joseph's athletics website, SJUHawks.com

The season tips off on Friday, November 11 at 8 p.m. when the Hawks travel to Western Kentucky.
