Sixers forward Andres Nocioni has signed a one-month contract to play with a team in his native Argentina.
TalkBasket.net reported that sponsors were secured to cover the cost of insurance for Nocioni, estimated to be about $50,000.
Nocioni, who will turn 32 later this month, averaged 6.1 points and 3.1 rebounds in a reserve role with the Sixers last season.
